Boxing Day Marathon

So I wondered what do I give a child who has everything? Not sure but as I kind of couldn't get any item on my daughter’s list of Christmas pressies list due to  already owning two dogs (a great Dane and an English Mastiff), and we just said goodbye to our pet hamster Sebastian, and i couldn't get The Vamps tickets for their upcoming 2015 concerts I settled for what I felt was the fourth best thing! A #movie marathon, at the o2 cineworld cinema.

So here I was planning a movie marathon with military precision,  i made a list the day before of all the movies we wanted to watch and the times,  then selected the most suitable times considering we were travelling all the way from Edenbridge!

We got to the cinema handed our list over and got our tickets for our entire movie
1.      The Nativity 3

2.      Exodus (God and Kings

3.      Night at the museum ( felt so good seeing Robin Williams again)

4.      Annie ( loved the songs but can’t remember them all)

5.      Hobbit.

The day was fun and passed with loads of popcorn and coke. We returned home to the dogs. I can tell you they didn't find it funny being left in the garden all day. What did you do this #boxingday and don’t say shopping!

Are like gold dust especially if they are REAL they help add credence to any form of social interaction.  They help give some level of interaction to anything, person, photo, venture whatever it maybe. They are unspoken reviews that can be given by the click of a button. Businesses thrive upon it and celebrity work their butts off to get their points across no matter how random! Social Media is here to stay and we all just have to get with the programme.

The world is filled with people using social media and they are able to start trends and these trends help propagate issues and causes.  They bring to the fore of our consciousness what is really important. The dessert Counter seeks to change the world in its own way "one sweet treat at a time"

Colours

What do they say about you? What do you think about them? Colours are linked to how your mood improves or wanes. It’s the truth! When the sun comes out we are light it feels like we can take on the world. However when its dark and dreary our mood diminishes and all we want to do is be by ourselves.

So imagine how a box of brightly colored French macarons will affect your mood this season, our French macarons are sweet and are bright with different flavours what’s there not to love about them! Pick a box up today at the counter and see what the colours do for your mood.

Growing Organically

What does this mean in business, does it help? Extremely well!  if you have the patience to wait for the dividends to pay up. It’s very easy to fall prey to all the marketing firms out there who promise you all the trade you can and “can’t” handle.

Their selling points are enticing but not practical. As it’s easy to give a proposal on how to market on paper but its understanding what your market needs. No one wants to feel like a target for marketing, customers are unique and want their needs understood and met.

Some businesses are brilliant at understanding their customers’ needs and the counter is proud to be associated with communities and businesses who have this ethos and understand what the consumer really wants,

Good customer service.

Scrooge

Christmas is a time of cheer happiness and giving. People are everywhere shopping and partying. Websites are crashing yep that’s right they are crashing. Even the almighty online shopping giants are in a pickle. Couldn't log into my amazon account today!

So what is this thing that brings out the spirit of giving in people? Is it the fact that the year is coming to an end? Or is it the promise of a new beginning new chances and opportunities? Frankly I don’t know (bet someone out there does)

So what is considered appropriate and what is inappropriate? I guess it depends on who is giving and who is giving I guess. That’s all folks rambling over! I got it of my chest.

Cooking

Cooking? You either hate it or love it, but one thing is for sure we all eat. Babies drink milk either from the bottle or from the breast . Toddlers semi solids and soft foods, older kids to most adults eat a wide range of dishes in different meal formats. Whilst some of the elderly and some in hospitals have theirs in special formats, whichever way we do decide to do it we all EAT!

Hence learning to cook is important in some cultures even is sometimes a criteria for marriage in some and the inability to cook has been known to lead to the disintegration of some homes. So when it comes to the matter of cooking some either embrace it or some shudder in terror at the prospect.

Learning to cook is quite easy to anyone who is interested in how this works, you add your listed ingredients in the order it should be added at the right temperature for the proper measure of time and BAM you are ready to have a meal. In some people the inability to work out the basic outlined ways of putting a meal or even a dish together leads them to the waiting arms of all the food retailers and peddlers out there. In whatever way shape or form they come.

Cooking classes have been known to put the spring back in the steps of many wives and a smile on the face of countless husbands. So if you or anyone you know have issues putting a meal together remember cooking classes, they are fun, interactive, social events that show that you are not alone in the inability of the kitchen science.
